Also known as burnt broccoli in our house. Empty a frozen bag of organic broccoli onto a lined baking sheet. Spread out into a single layer, coat with olive oil, and season generously with a high-quality sea salt or (my favorite) Redmond real salt. Bake in a 350° oven for approximately 35 minutes, mixing and/or turning the tray about halfway through for even cooking.
That’s it. That’s the whole recipe. The best part is this works well for pretty much any frozen vegetable, but you have to play with the cooking times. For example, frozen cauliflower needs less time, about 30 minutes.
There’s no washing, no chopping, no trying not to throw up while pulling bugs out. I’ve made this for dinner parties I’ve hosted and potluck dinners I’ve attended, and someone always asks me for the recipe. It’s that good.
Let me know if you try it!
