My husband is healing from an injury (herniated disc in his spine) so he asked his resident health coach (me) to put him on an anti-inflammatory diet. I began making this blueberry banana smoothie for him and found it so delicious I started having it for breakfast once or twice a week myself! As someone who prefers to chew rather than drink her meals, this is really saying something!

Steven’s Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie Recipe:
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp Manna Organics Manna butter nuts ‘n seeds,
- 1 tbsp maca powder
- 1 1/2 cups Rise Brewing Company oat milk or unsweetened plant milk of choice
- Handful of spinach (optional)
Blend until completely smooth. You may need to stop and stir because it’s quite thick, which I love because I can eat it with a spoon! This makes 2 servings. If I’m not having one, I divide it into two pint glasses and keep the other covered in the fridge until the next day.
